Professor Dr Dayananda is a highly accomplished Head of Department and Professor Grade I in Orthopaedics, bringing a wealth of experience and a dedication to excellence to his practice. His expertise spans a broad spectrum of orthopaedic care, including sports medicine, trauma and fracture management, joint replacement and arthroscopy, deformity corrections and limb lengthening, and paediatric orthopaedics.

Born into a family of doctors, with a strong medical lineage, Dr Dayananda’s passion for orthopaedics began early. He completed his MS in Orthopaedics at the young age of 26 and furthered his training at prestigious institutions both in India and abroad. He also holds a Diploma in Orthopaedics and a Diploma in Football Sports Medicine from FIFA.

Dr Dayananda has established himself as a leading expert in deformity corrections, having performed over 1000 such procedures. He is also highly proficient in joint replacement and arthroscopy. He takes pride in the fact that his colleagues trust him to operate on their own family members.

His professional experience is extensive, encompassing a wide range of orthopaedic specialisations. He has received the Prakriti Award from the Department of Physically Disabled for his work in deformity corrections in children.

Dr Dayananda is an all-rounder in orthopaedics, with particular expertise in correcting complex deformities and performing joint replacement surgeries. He is a life member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association, the Karnataka Orthopaedic Association, and the Indian Medical Council. He also served as the President of the Indian Orthopaedic Association Dubai Chapter.

He has published case studies and presented numerous papers and posters at national and international conferences. He has also served as faculty for Ilizarov surgeries in Malaysia and joint replacement workshops.
