Nestled in the beautiful surrounds of Chikkaballapur, just a few miles from the serene Nandi Hills, is where the campus of the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research stands. Two teaching hospitals and one academic block functions around the clock in this phase of Sadguru’s medical education mission.

Central Lobby

It is the past that the essence of today rests on. The Central Lobby is a tribute to individuals from every walk of life, whose tireless striving and struggle have made life and living better. The gallery shall take one into the world of thought provoking approaches, stories and journeys, that shall shake the very core of one’s existence to commit to a lifetime of progressive action towards Integrated Human Development.

Central Library

The medical college library is an essential resource for students and faculty in the field of medicine. It provides a wide range of medical literature, research materials, and textbooks, enabling students to access the latest information and stay updated with the advancements in the healthcare. The library often offers study spaces, computer facilities, and access to online databases, helping students conduct research and prepare for exams. Its collection may include journals, reference books, anatomy atlases, and specialized resources catering to various medical disciplines. Museum

The road to medical knowledge is through museums, as they are the windows to the seeds of wonder sown in classrooms. Adhering to the NMC guidelines, the academic block shall house three museums to display the specimens and models from various disciplines of Medicine.

  • Pathology and Forensic Medicine
  • Pharmacology, Microbiology and Community Medicine
  • Dedicated setup for audio-visual equipment with internet connection
  • Adequate racks and shelves for storing and proper display of wet and dry specimens (where applicable) and models.
  • Adequate facilities for displaying and viewing radiological and digitalized images

Lecture Halls

The lecture halls in the medical college are designed to facilitate learning and knowledge dissemination. Equipped with advanced technology and spacious seating, these lecture halls provide an ideal environment for students to acquire in-depth medical knowledge from experienced educators.

Research Lab

Research is the distance between an idea and its realization. The research lab of the academic block shall promote advanced medical research and be responsive to current and future needs of medical sciences. The long term objective of the lab is to enable small advances in research, leading to path-breaking innovations impacting the society at large.
