Launched to heal
The event saw the unveiling of a heart-lung machine, ENT program, kidney dialysis facilities, and an ophthalmic surgical microscope.
The occasion was also marked by talks from distinguished dignitaries, including Rotary International Director, Mr Raju Subramaniam. In his remarks, he highlighted the institution’s commitment in serving the needy:
“This is an institute we must partner with, as we serve those who truly need it. It is having the heart to reach out and make a difference.”

In his benedictory message, Sri Madhusudan Sai emphasised the power of collective partnerships and shared a profound message from the Taittiriya Upanishad on the art of giving:
𝑠́𝑟𝑎𝑑𝑑ℎ𝑎𝑦𝑎̄ 𝑑𝑒𝑦𝑎𝑚 | 𝑎𝑠́𝑟𝑎𝑑𝑑ℎ𝑎𝑦𝑎̄’𝑑𝑒𝑦𝑎𝑚 | 𝑠́𝑟𝑖𝑦𝑎̄ 𝑑𝑒𝑦𝑎𝑚 | ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑦𝑎̄ 𝑑𝑒𝑦𝑎𝑚 | 𝑏ℎ𝑖𝑦𝑎̄ 𝑑𝑒𝑦𝑎𝑚 | 𝑠𝑎𝑚̇𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑎̄ 𝑑𝑒𝑦𝑎𝑚 |
– Give with sincerity
– Give without agenda
– Give abundantly to meet needs
– Give with the humility to recognize if your service is insufficient
– Give with knowledge of who and why you’re giving
Sri Madhusudan Sai concluded with a powerful reminder: “It is through purpose and passion that an institute lasts.”

This collaboration exemplifies the power of purposeful partnerships in healthcare. As both organisations move forward with shared purpose and passion, their combined efforts promise to make a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals, setting a inspiring example of how collective action can transform healthcare delivery in the region.
