Dr Bhaskar Hebbani Nagaiah
Professor, Pharmacology
Professor Dr Bhaskar Hebbani Nagaiah is a distinguished Professor Grade I in Pharmacology, bringing a wealth of experience in clinical pharmacology, family medicine, and medical education. With a career spanning over two decades, he is deeply committed to advancing pharmacological knowledge and its clinical application.
His areas of expertise include human clinical trials, bioequivalence studies, animal studies focusing on wound healing, and teaching the pharmacological basis of drug use in various systems. He has extensive experience in diverse instructional methods, including didactic lectures, problem-based learning (PBL), OSPE, OSCE, and the use of mannequins.
Dr Bhaskar began his teaching career at KMC, where he also served as a principal investigator for approximately 40 bioequivalence studies. He has taught at Saba University School of Medicine, AIMST University, Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences, and East Point College of Medical Sciences, holding leadership roles and consistently enhancing his pedagogical skills.
His clinical expertise is further strengthened by his M. Med in Family Medicine from CMC, Vellore. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences, including the SingHealth-Duke NUS Education Conference, the Japan Society for Medical Education, and the National Cancer Conference at the CDC.
