Assistant Professor, Pharmacology
Dr Radha A is a dedicated Assistant Professor in Pharmacology, bringing a focused expertise in academics, pharmacovigilance, and clinical research. With a keen interest in drug safety, efficacy, and innovative teaching methods, she is committed to advancing pharmacological knowledge and patient care.
Her areas of specialisation include different teaching and learning methods, pharmacovigilance, clinical pharmacology, clinical trials, systematic reviews and phytopharmacology.
Dr Radha has experience as a Senior Resident and Assistant Professor at East Point Medical College and St. Peter Medical College. She also gained valuable industry experience as a Medical Reviewer at Navitas Lifesciences, a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO).
Her research includes studies on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, linezolid-induced thrombocytopenia, disulfiram-induced psychosis, and the comparison of problem-based learning and didactic lectures. She has presented her work at international and national conferences and contributed a book chapter on “Therapeutic Vaccines.” Her research is published in indexed journals, including Scopus and DOAJ.
Dr Radha is trained in RBMET and CISPII, and is a Nursing Coordinator, training and guiding Junior Medical Reviewers and the PV team in a Pharmaceutical company. She is also a member of the Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacotherapeutic committee.
