Professor Dr Sapna Purushotham is a dedicated and compassionate Head of Department in General Surgery, bringing 15 years of surgical expertise. With a medical degree from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, and residency training at BLDEA’s Sri B.M. Patil Medical College, Bijapur, she is committed to providing the highest standard of patient care.

Dr Purushotham’s research is published in reputable journals, covering topics such as prophylactic antibiotics in surgical procedures, carcinoma breast profiles, non-traumatic acute abdomen, benign breast disease, and metastatic oncocytic papillary renal cell carcinoma. She is a member of ASI and AMASI.
