Professor Dr Shuba Srinivasan is a distinguished Head of Department in General Medicine, bringing over two decades of clinical and academic expertise. A physician with a profound commitment to patient-centric, holistic care, she is dedicated to advancing medical education and improving healthcare outcomes.

Dr Srinivasan completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training in Karnataka and holds the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (London). She has a wealth of experience in training both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and has served as a programme director for the Internal Medicine Training programme in association with RCP London and as a PACES examiner.

Her specialisations include internal medicine, with a particular interest in diabetology, gastroenterology, and geriatric medicine. She is trained to perform upper and lower GI endoscopies and has completed a fellowship in diabetology.

Dr Srinivasan has a strong publication record in national and international journals, covering topics such as medical student counselling for tobacco addiction and multisystem inflammatory syndrome in adults associated with COVID-19. She has also presented posters at ISGCON and a paper at KAPICON.
